Enquiries for New Client Placements: The care delivery at Milestone House is tailored to meet the individual person’s specific care needs. As well as the NHS care assessment and the care plan, an INP (Individual Needs Portrayal) is carried out by the local authority.
The Milestone House team will visit a prospective new client in their present, familiar surroundings, to carry out our own in-depth assessment.
Milestone House strives to maintain a family type environment where residents’ safety and happiness is of paramount importance. We are acutely aware of the impact disability, within a family, can have on its members and we endeavour, at all times, to empathise and support. This facilitates “Best Practice” care delivery.
To ensure it is the appropriate environment for all, a prospective client will usually be introduced to Milestone House and the current residents, initially.
In this way harmony within the home is maintained.
Fees: As our care delivery is specific and individualised to the clients’ needs we do not have a standard fee structure. Fees are based on the care input required and as a rough guide our weekly charge is in the region of £1,500 - £1,850. Funding is usually via Social Services, NHS/ Continuing Healthcare, CCG or a combination of the above.
